Allison is a certified Pilates instructor with over 20 years of teaching movement through Pilates, dance, and yoga. She integrated Pilates into her movement repertoire while completing her undergraduate degree in dance at Columbia College Chicago. Upon graduation, she pursued a Pilates certification from Body Balance Ltd., completing her coursework in 2000.
Her approach to Pilates combines both the classical and contemporary principles that honor current anatomical ideology. Her sessions will help you focusing on cultivating mindfulness, enhancing body alignment and awareness, and promoting overall wellness. Although Allison first viewed Pilates from the perspective of a professional dancer, a cancer diagnosis taught her that Pilates can bring every person, regardless of physical ability, to a place of renewal and vitality.
